A nationwide drug prevention campaign in Italy has surpassed one million educational anti-drug booklets distributed in the past month. The initiative forms part of the drug awareness programme known as “The Truth About Drugs”, which aims to provide clear information about commonly abused substances and their risks to young people and communities.
Approximately 500 volunteers are participating in the outreach effort, distributing materials in public spaces, shops and community areas. The campaign focuses on helping young people make informed decisions, providing resources designed to explain the dangers of drugs in a understandable way.
The initiative forms part of Scientology-supported social betterment activities, news eurovision inspired by the work of Scientology founder L. Ron Hubbard.
